FAQs

The Venue

How can I get there?

The Thursday Club is in a residential neighborhood, so public transit won't get you all the way there. Your best option is driving, taking a rideshare, or hitching a ride with someone else.

Where can I park when I arrive?

The venue has lots of street parking - there is no parking lot as it's in a residential neighborhood. Don't stress, the bride isn't much for parallel parking either, but there are so many spaces it won't be a problem.

Are the ceremony and reception in the same place? Are they indoors or outdoors?

Yes, they're in the same place! You will only need to find your way to one location for the night. The ceremony is outdoors in the garden, and the reception is inside the clubhouse. In case of rain, the ceremony will be inside the clubhouse as well.

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Yes! There are some areas that may require going a different path in a wheelchair, but you can get anywhere on the premises.

What to Pack

What should I wear to the wedding?

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We're excited to see you all dressed up!

I've heard San Diego is always sunny - I don't need an umbrella, right?

While mostly sunny, San Diego can be full of surprises! Click HERE to go to the Weather Channel website for San Diego and change the month at the top to October for the most recent forecast. The ceremony will be outside in the garden, and the reception is indoors although you can still stroll through the garden throughout the evening.

Anything else I should put on my list?

Check out our local recommendations tab for other things you may want to do while visiting. Pack accordingly!

The Event

When should I arrive?

Please make sure you arrive by 3:30pm at the latest in order to find a seat and be ready for the ceremony!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Unfortunately our venue has limited capacity, so we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Am I allowed to bring my children?

While we love your little ones, our wedding is an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I take photos at your wedding?

During the ceremony itself, we ask that you be present with us and not take photos on your phone. Rest assured we can share our professional photography photos with you afterwards. During the reception, feel free to snap away! In fact, we'd love if you shared any and all photos of the event with us - we want to see all the fun you had.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes! There will be hors d'oeuvres and refreshments during cocktail hour, as well as a dinner reception to follow. Dinner will be served buffet-style. Please inform us of any food allergies when RSVPing. As for drinks, we will have several alcoholic and non-alcoholic options to choose from.

When does the reception end?

Sadly, we can't party all night with you, although we wish we could. The night will end at 9pm and we'll all part ways (we do have a bedtime, you know).
